David Burdeshaw & Larry Bottom will be going on a vision trip to visit a church plant project in Vail, a fast growing area
of Tucson. They will also be prayer walking the area.

August 26-September 4, 2008
Bro. Scotty will be going to India for a first hand look a the work among the people group we have adopted. We have committed
to support this project by $300 per month. Sunday School classes or other groups may wish to support an additional national
church planter for only $100 per month. God has opened the doors to reach this people group and Westmeade has a major
role as we give and pray.

A team of medical, children’s workers, preschool workers, youth workers, etc. will be going to Thailand to minister
to our workers there. I am waiting to hear from the host church concerning openings for the team. If you feel God calling
you to go to Thailand for 1 week, 10 days, 2 weeks or more in January please contact Kathy Hogan at the church office.
The greatest need is usually for preschool workers. It is not easy but very rewarding and much appreciated. |

Margaret will leading a group of ladies who will provide a Missionary Wives Retreat missionary wives serving there.

Brandon, Margaret & Julie will be taking the Juniors and Seniors on a mission trip to minister to the poor and provide
VBS for children.

A group of 18-22 adults will be providing shoes for the Quechea Indians in the mountains of Ecuador and sharing the

Tentative dates are July 11-18, 2009. We have 18 signed up from this year but we are trying to add 4-5 more.

Our flights were delayed for 2 days (1 day for weather and next for mechanical problems) and we were not able to make
our connection to Quito. There were 18 very disappointed people but we are trusting that this was in God’s plan. The trip
is being rescheduled for Summer 2009. Please pray for God’s will concerning this. |
