ABOUT THESummit_
IT is THERefuge_ student leadership mentoring and intern program which consist of students on two different levels. The first level is for students that have a passion to lead and take ownership in the student ministry. The second level is for students that feel a calling in their lives to ministry.

PURPOSE
This program exists to do just that, which is equipping students who have a evident calling on their lives to attain the highest point of attainment to ultimately the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

BIBLICAL FOUNDATION
In Scripture it is clear that there are men and women who are called to many things for the building up of the kingdom of God.
Eph.4 is the ground work for THESummit_ student leaders.
11It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. EPH.4:11-13

Hunter Sandoval - Mission Cordinator and High School band leader. Hunter surrendered to ministry this past Summer july 2009.
Matt Johnson - Middle School Band leader and College band leader
Dana Starnes - Student Ministry Music Director, Girls ministry Director. Dana surrendered to ministry this past Summer 2009 after God working through her life through missions in the DR.
Andy Hampton- Refuge Friday Outreach leader, Minister trainee. Andy surrendered to ministry in August of 2009, God used him through the ONE program to reach his friend for Christ. After Andy caught what the fire of sharing Christ, he heard the call to full time ministry.
Tyler Hogan - Refuge Friday Outreach leader, Minister trainee. Tyler surrendered to full time ministry the summer of 2008 at mfuge. God showed him at a young age that He has a big plan for his life.
Jared Ford - Middle School production team leader. Jared was saved the summer of 2009, and ever since God has been at work in his life. Jared is experiencing the calling in his life and has not yet surrendered.He plans to as soon as God tells him.
Todd Patton- Todd is our college missions cordinator and he is also our creative music specialist. Todd expeirienced a life change at the Motion conf. the summer of 2009. Todd told God that he wants to be involved in local missions and to do big things for God.
Jake McCay - Jake is our college student missionary, he will be serving in Costa rica and Nicaragua this year with the G.A.P program through score international.Jake Surrendered to full time ministry the summer of 2009, Jake feels his calling is to Missions.
