DNow is a local weekend retreat in which you don't leave the city. Students are placed in a host home (a church member) with a leader(s) and other students of the same gender and grade level. The students and leaders spend the weekend growing closer together and learning how to grow in their faith.
FEBRUARY
Alternative prom is a event where we give a emphasis on abstaining from alcohol. Each year we have a different theme for the fun festive night. We have tons of fun with games, free food and more.
MARCH OR APRIL
Grad Sunday is a special day for our graduates. It is when we take a Sunday morning service to recognize this milestone in their lives. We also have a lunch for the graduates and their parents.
MAY
The dominican trip is a senior trip for our seniors, college students are also allowed to go. This is a life giving, life changing trip. You will share the gospel, fight poverty, and make a difference in many lives. Also we go to paradise on a free day Catalina island.
JUNE
At MFuge you can roll your sleeves up and get ready to jump right into ministry…our highly tranied FUGE staffers will take care of the details and facilitate the planning for each day. You and your students will get to invest your time and energy into a variety of mission projects (choose between Children’s Ministry, Games & Rec, Social Ministry, Creative Ministry or Painting, Construction, Yardwork). During the day your students will be challenged and stretched as individuals; in the evenings, you’ll have an opportunity to build group unity over dinner, worship, fellowships and Church Group Devotions.JULY
At CENTRIFUGE you can relax and let us take care of the details. In addition to powerful worship every morning and evening, your students will experience small-group Bible study and team-building recreation led by highly trained FUGE staffers. In the meantime, you and your adults have the chance to refresh and fellowship with leaders from other churches through adult Bible study and recreation. Afternoon track times give everyone the opportunity to participate in a favorite activity or learn something new. Every part of the day is planned and executed by our FUGE staff so you don’t have to worry about preparing for the next activity - you can focus on building relationships with your students. JULY
Every year we have a event to have one last summer day and get focused for the upcoming school year. The Students are encourage and inspired to be Christ through their lives in the schools their biggest mission field.
AUGUST
See You at the Pole™ connects believers together at the beginning of the school year, so you can stand strong together throughout the year.
See You at the Pole™ is all about prayer. It’s about you coming together and laying aside all of the labels and groups for one day, to simply engage with God in prayer and connect with fellow Christians in unity around the flag pole. We also have a rally at THERefuge to celebrate what God did at the schools that day.
SEPTEMBER
Every year we have a costume party that goes along with the series we are doing. it is a contest of who has the best outfits, a time of fun and did i mention free food.
OCTOBER
For the past three years we have had a flag football game with Auburn fans vs Alabama fans. It is a time where you can show you teams pride. it is a fun family day. This year we will have a parent chili cook off.
NOVEMBER
This is our first ever ugly christmas sweater party. It is where you find the ugliest christmas sweater you have ever seen and wear it that night. There is a contest for who claims the ugliest christmas sweater, and we play a game where you swap your $5.oo gift.
