what are volunteers?
Are individuals who have a heart to serve in areas that they are gifted to contribute to the student ministry.
Are voulunteers the same as ALTitude team? No, the ALTitude team consists of 15 adults that are referred to the ALTitude team. This is a two year term.
Do I get paid? No, at least not with money. God will reward you after seeing a diferance in a student’s life.
STUDENT Ministry Opportunities:
#1 High School Small Groups
BIGGEST NEED: Weekly small group bible study leaders
We believe that LIFE CHANGE happens in small groups….High and Jr. High School Ministries (Ages 12-18) have a HUGE need for small group leaders. We are looking for men and women who LOVE God and have a desire to journey with students through the ups and downs of their faith. We need people who are excited to care about students and help them become rooted in God’s word. HS Small Groups…meet weekly on all different nights throughout the week. The groups meet in homes in the surrounding communities. 1 to 2 adult leaders will be teamed up with 10-12 same gender students ages 14-18. The groups meet each week for bible study and accountability. Our staff will train each new leader and equip you with the tools you need to succeed.
Expected Commitment: 2 ½ hours weekly & 4 Quarterly Leader Training/Connect meetings
BIGGEST NEED: Relational Ministers
Our ministry needs adults who are excited to connect with students each week. We believe that relationships are a key ingredient for life change…we need Godly leaders who want to build relationships and participate in a weekly church service with students. Choose one of our 2 services: Wednesdays: 6:00 or Sunday’s 5:45 pm.
Expected Commitment: 1 ½ hours weekly.

#2 CHAPERONE ANY EVENTS THAT THE YOUTH HAVE.
EX. DNOW - JAN.28 - FEB.1 - THIS IS A HUGE EVENT. AREAS TO SERVE ARE FOOD, HOST HOME CORDINATOR, GAME CORDINATOR, TRANSPORTATION CORDINATOR, HOST A HOME ETC.

#3. ADULTS NEEDED WHEN THE REFUGE FAILITY
WE PLAN TO HAVE IT OPENED ON FRDAY NIGHTS IN THE FUTURE FROM 6:00 - 11:00 . AND AS WE NEED TUTORS WHEN WE OFFER STUDY HALL WILL DURING WEEKDAYS TUESDAY, AT 3:30 - 5:30.
